Take OFF O2 regulator or leave ON???

Got the Williams O2 system with the wand. Question- in between brews should I remove the regulator from the O2 cylinder, or leave it on the cylinder in the off postion??? Methinks I should take it off.

I would take it off (that's what I do) so there's no chance of leaks.
I do the same with mine. To be on the safe side, I also open the valve on the regulator for storage in case there is any non-metallic internal sealing surface that could become permanently compressed.
