Has anyone bought from them ? $145 seems so low for stainless 80QT - I always though Instawares was the cheapest

The SPS-80 is an excellent kettle. MoreBeer, MegaPot and we use Update International SPS series kettles. Tri-clad heavy duty. The Bayou is nice but not in the same league.

The shipping is more than double at katom.com which puts them at almost the same price...

Gotta check the shipping... that's where you often get ripped

With shipping katom is $163...how bout this w/out the tri clad and 1.2mm for $110

That's a decent kettle. The thickness is only about .8mm though. That thickness is fine for a smaller kettle but getting a little thin (durability wise) for a larger kettle. It'll boil water just fine though :mug:
