I'm going to make a one gallon batch this weekend.

So far I'm thinking 1-2kg pale malt, 100g sugar (or thereabouts), amarillo hops and a belgian yeast. Then i'll add apricots (juice, dried, fresh?) and dregs from an Orval.

Anyone tried anything similar to this. I was inspired by the drunk owl mango in the sour recipes. Ideally I would like to do 5 gallons of this, but I don't have a huge amount of space, so its far easier for me to hide a one gallon demijohn for 6-8 months.

Whatever you do, don't just cut up and drop the apricots straight into the primary after about a week of fermentation. I did just that to a one gallon batch a few months back because I am lazy as hell, and it turned into band-aid city....
