Is it necessary to filter beer twice, coarse then fine? If so why not just use two housings run in series? Can I do it with a pump directly from my 5 gallon secondary into the keg? Anyone have pictures of their filter system they can post?
Thank You

I use a 2 micron filter and make one pass. That seems to do the trick.

You need about 5 psi to push your brew through a filter and that shouldn't be a problem for a small pump.

Is 2 micron sufficient to remove all sediment and cold haze from the beer? My main goal is to remove sediment completely, I don't care much about haze.
