I'm new to all this I need advise on the best fermenting heater to buy because I can't get the right temp were ever I seem to put it

I have the same problem and intend to buy a FermWrap to put around my fermenter. Hook that up to a digital temperature controller and put the thermometer into a stopper well and I should be okay. And so should you!

+1 This is what I do but I also have everything in my fermentation fridge so I can keep the temp right where I want it (within a couple degrees anyway).

buy a heating pad,the type you use for a sore back, just make sure it does not have the auto shut off feature. Of course, you'll need a temp controller
