Trouble finding sweet gale

For some reason it seems i cannot find anywhere that has Sweet Gale / Myrica Gale available. I know the Brewer's Garden company offered it but it just seems that no one has it in stock anymore? Did I miss something? Anyone have a source?

(I want to brew the Gotlandsdricka recipe from Radical Brewing)

Your right! I took a look at my usual sources, and they all seem to be out of stock. I did find an active link at Austin Homebrew Supply. You might want to try them.

Also, remember to search as 'Bog Myrtle' as well as 'Sweet Gale' and 'Myrica Gale'....

I buy alot of my tea and spices/herb from a company called Rose Mountain Herbs. Looks like they carry it.

Any good substitutes for this mystery bog myrtle??

I checked a few sites, and this one has it listed .. not sure if it is in-stock...

I have never tried any direct replacement for it, as I usually find a few grams if I hunt around. I also found a link with interesting data in a plant database.
