So I bottled my first brew, a wheat beer, about 4 weeks ago. I popped one a couple weeks ago and it tasted like a granny smith apple soaked in cheap beer. A week later, it was decent, but it was overcarbonated. today, I popped one and it was GREAT! Good enough I had a couple of more :D.

Anyways, it's pours a nice tan head, has a pleasant sweet, fruity taste, and a great color. I just wanted to say thanks for answering all of my dumb newbie questions.:tank:

Green apples == no starter and not enough aeration, probably. Shake the fermenter for 5 minutes on your next batch, and consider using a yeast starter with liquid yeast. Then it'll be ready even sooner. :rockin:

Welcome to the fray. :mug:

Oh, don't worry. I bottled my second last nite, and I've got a porter sitting in primary as we speak.
