So I brewed my first 5 gallon batch and kegged it a week ago. Hefeweizen extract kit.
I followed the rules religiously as found in Palmer's 'How to brew'. As for force carbonating, I got some help on the forum.
The whole batch is just incredible. Amazing if I say so myself.
I did a full wort boil and cooled with an immersion chiller.
I was just drinking a glass and thought I would share my experience with the board. Thanks for the help guys! I am hooked to say the least.
Since I had my first glass, I have invested in a carboy for secondary fermentation and a capper.
Homebrewing is by far the most fufilling and inebriating hobby I have ever had..
