Do infections usually result in a beer tasting bad?
I'm not sure if a couple of batches were infected, or a result of my water chemistry.
My beer isn't bad, but more bitter, and tart, maybe a little sour, but not bad sour.
I've not seen any visible signs of infection. In fact it tasted great until it was bottled.
I did however, find some debris in my bottling wand after disassembling it after bottling those two batches.
