Hi All
Just about to bottle 5 gallons of Port O Palmer.
According to his nomograph I calculate 2.5 oz's of corn sugar. Calculated with 65 temp for beer and 2 for volumes of CO2.
This seems low to me ?
Any help would be appreciated

Well,if that beer is to be like an English style, then 2 volumes of co2 would be about right. If it's more of an American style,2.3-2.5 would be more like it. What style is port o palmer?

It's a robust porter per Palmer. He says CO2 from 1.7 to 2.3. I'm going with three oz of corn sugar which should give me 2.3 CO2, I think ?

Go with 2.3 or more 2.5? ... I did a Stout to style at 1.9 and I think it's too flat, but that's me.
