question about hop pellets

I have noticed that the hops has a tendency to accumulate on the sides of the boil pot. Is it acceptable to scrape down the sides of the pot?
 
yes,def scrape them back down into the wort to get the most from them. I use hop sacks,so I don't have to worry about all that.
