Hi guys, currently brewing a mango IPA, anything I should know about brewing with mango?
I've already brewed the IPA and plan to rack onto the mango after two weeks then bottle after a further weeks fermentation. I'm using 1KG Boiron Mango puree(100% mango) for a 5 gallon batch.

Cheers

if you use one of the more tropical hops in your dry hop....like Citra or Galaxy...shouldn't need any mango...it will give a nice tropical fruit aroma and smell.

But if you want to use Mango...I would rack after two weeks...let sit one week...then bottle...IPA's are best young and fresh

I'd rack onto the fruit as soon as primary is done. 1KG for 5 gallons? That will add quite a bit of fermentables.

Yiou might even want to add the mango at 1.025, so fermentation is still active.
