I'm planning to brew an imperial stout (1.072 OG) and rack it onto coca nibs for a week or so. The recipe I'm using doesn't include the nibs, that is something I'm adding.

The recipe calls for Chinook hops. Does that sound like it would go well with cocoa? I'm not familiar with Chinook. Would something like Golding or Fuggle be a better choice?

Great Divide Brewing Company does a version of their Yeti Imperial Stout aged on cocoa nibs and oak. As far as I know they use Chinook hops in that brew and its damn tasty. I say go for it.
