Well, not quite yet. But I just finished bottling my first homebrew! Now its time to wait some more. I took a taste from the gravity sample and it seems like its on the right track. I didn't notice any off flavors but it seemed kind of bland. I am confident it will be great once it ages a little. I guess I'll have to drink some craft brews for a few more weeks. This forum rocks! It made my first brew a great experience.

After 3 weeks in the bottle, it will taste like a different beer.

I'm ordering the ingredients for my next batch this week. Gotta start the pipeline

I'd say bland is a good sign. Most defects are perceived as offensive.

My thoughts exactly. I didn't really notice any off flavors, just didn't taste all that great yet

Remember, not failing is success especially on your first brew.

Uncarbed green samples all taste bad. As long as it doesn't have the off-flavors you're in good shape. Let it condition for a month or two.
