I am going to brew a couple lagers for a summer visit from some friends. I don't mind brewing and fermenting them and then lagering for 3 months but I don't want them taking up my freezer all summer (the freezer is how I control fermentation temperature.)
If I lager for 3 months in a keg can I remove that keg from the cold and store it without issue? In other words, if I remove it from the cold after lagering will there be any negative effect on the beer?
