I got some yeast from my local BJ's brewpub. American ale i think 001.
Well for those of you who have not gotten yeast from a brewery you need to try it.
The yeast I got destroyed my beer. It started going to work about an hour after pitching and was totally done 3 days later.
my OG was1.076 and G 4 days later was 1.018
anyone else had success getting free yeast????
