I have an IPA that is sitting in the primary that finished a bit low - FG 1.012/OG 1.069 -I was anticipating an FG 1.016. I'm concerned that the beer will finish too bitter. Would adding MD to the primary help? Is it even worth the trouble?

boil it 15 minutes in a bit of water and you can add it in either primary or secondary. maltodextrine will just add body to the beer and no alcohol, raising your FG. I'm not sure how it would change any of the bittering. If you want to increase viscosity, go for it...it's not much trouble at all.
