Lager cider?

I have a California common in primary right now and was wondering if I could use that yeast in a cider? It was a San Francisco lager yeast. Also should I lager it or at ale temps
 
Lager yeasts make great cider. Temp is up to you, but if you choose to ferment at the lower lager temps then you may want to consider using yeast nutrients to avoid stressing the yeast.
