I thought it would be fitting that my first post was done during my first brew session. I don't want to jinx myself, but the brewgods are happy as am I.

Thanks to all the members which makes HBT such a great resource for all the freshman.

cheers . Remember RDWHAHB or in your case a Craft brew . Patience and sanitation are the two most important things in homebrewing.
 
Welcome to the addiction..........errr I mean hobby.

Patience is the hardest thing to learn. Drink lots of craft brew, of course it is for research. Collect lots of bottles and start another beer as soon as you can.

I did 4 brews before I tasted my first......
 
Thanks for the encouragment! I made it through with only a small burn fron the wort chiller. Little bugger gets hot without water running thru.

The boil went great but the wort xfer didnt. Had to ask the wife to hold the pot and tube. Wait. You all know what i mean...

Clean up time!
