I have a batch of Ale (my take on new castle) in the primary its been about 2 days and the temp is a little warm 75-77* I know that the first few day's of fermention it will get a little warn due to the yeast having a fun time!
I'm guessing that it will stay at that temp over the next few weeks cuz its going to be warm so my Q is this?

Should I move the bucket down to the bastment? It's about 55- 60* if so when? Or let it sit at around 75* upstairs? Thanks

Yes, I'd definitely get it to the basement if it were my batch. 75 is pretty warm.

Tough choice. It depends on what ale yeast you used,& it's temp range. If it can ferment cooler, then the basement would be better.

When I'm brewing in winter,I put an old, fleece lined CPO around my fermenter. It made it easy to keep it at 69F.
