Hopefully this belongs in the equipment category...

So I have the following fryer stand from Academy and was wondering if there is any specific reason I wouldn't be able to "upgrade" to a BG12 from Bayou Classic? Or even somehow replace with a 23 jet burner? Any input is appreciated but for $17 and 2 day Prime shipping, I may just jump and take my chances that it will fit. Thanks.

Edit: Didn't realize the link didn't attach... sorry

I have retro-fitted a BG12 and a BG14 on an old turkey fryer stand from Academy. You just have to get creative with the mounting brackets. Other than pairing it with the proper regulator it should be pretty easy. Plus Amazon will take most stuff back if it isn't used.

Would I need to go from high pressure to low?

NM just finally went directly to Bayou's site and says my 10 psi will work fine. Thanks again.
