I brewed a belgian white ale on 5/3 which is coming up on 4 weeks ago. I was going to keg tonight but I notice it still had a thin krausen over the whole top. I was going to keg but I figured I would give it another day or two. If it is still there on Thursday, should I keg it or let it sit longer?

I used WLP380. Gravity is at 1.011 and has been over 3 days now.

I've had this situation before. I moved my fermenter to a warmer area and I think the move helped the krausen fall pretty quickly. Worth a shot I'd say. Sounds like it's done fermenting anyway.

I wouldn't sweat it. Sometimes a krausen will sit there long after FG is reached. I use a couple strains that do that to me regularly. Like gc said, moving it will help knock it down, so maybe just give the fermenter a gently swirl and see if you can loosen the layer from the sides.

I did move it around slightly tonight. It is currently sitting at 68. I'll give it another few days.
