do you folks recommend starting my second batch without knowing how my first turned out? Obviously, the big pro argument is that I'll get more beers faster. The big con is that I might still not know what I am doing
Yep, keep them in the pipeline. Getting ready to brew my third batch tomorrow... weather permitting and I haven't even been able to try the first batch yet lol. It's a fun process isn't it?
Haha, me too, although it may be today, trying to get a better handle on the weather to determine if I will be able to go MX tomorrow or not. My first has been bottled for a week after 3 weeks in the primary and 2 in the secondary and I need the primary that batch two has been in for the last 3 weeks. It's just a cream ale and I can't decide to rack it or bottle it.

Good thing too because my first batch was lame.
Just getting into my second now and it's pretty damn good.
