Okay... So my wife and I have been through this whole kid thing 3 previous times and now we are going on #4 due in September.

Looking for boy or girl names (didnt find out yet) that might be beer related.

Caveat is that the other 3 kids' names all end in -on.

I am trying to get my wife to agree to Saison but let me hear your thoughts..

I always liked Porter for a boy and Dogfish Head for a girl. My wife agrees with the former. Either way congrats :)

How about hop varieties ending in "on", like Horizon, Bullion, or Tradition?

I like Gureuze, maybe as a middle name?

Other fun words. Trub, Pellicle, Sparge, Helles, Dunkel, Saison, Cyser.

Then there are the simple ones like Porter or Brett for boys. Perry can be unisex.

What is the first letter of your last name? Could go with something to make the kids initials ESB or IPA or the like.

Maybe Heady, or some beer you likes product name?

Cascadeon, and you could call him or her Cassidy or Cas.

Saison works for me, too, as long as you tell the child that her/his name means 'season', not a beer style.

My wife and I named our son Porter, but it wasn't really because of the beer. It was the only name we both agreed on and liked.

I dare you to name your daughter Heady.

Haha. She would be VERY popular in HS and College. With kids nowadays, probably middle school too.

Headly LaMarr anyone?

My wife and I named our son Porter, but not after the beer style(Porter is actually one of my least favorite styles). We just thought it was a strong, unique(but not too unique) name.

Burton and Saison would be the only names I could think of that would end in "on".

Keep us updated with what name you come up with.

Other kids names are Peyton, Allison and Mason (hence keeping with the -on ending)

As far as beer related that my wife would (possibkly) go for - Saison was the only thought that I had...

Here is the list of others that may work although they are not beer related.

Dawson
Grayson
Dylon

Saison (derivative of season)
Kenton

Madison
Gwendylon
Jillion
Taylon

Sierra (as in -Nevada) for a girl.
Sam Adam [last name] or Oskar for a boy.
Or how about Pliny? Just make sure you force him to name his first-born son Pliny as well to cover the Elder/Younger angle ;)

Surly! Brux! Avery! ......... actually, I can go on forever.

Sorry it doesnt end in -on... Kent.
you could do Kenton
but that just makes me think of Clinton

Just thought of another.. my middle name is Cason. It's Irish for vigilance/protection but it could be interpreted as "Case" (of beer) "On" (my mind/the shelf etc...)
