I've brewed this a coupla times now. And it may be a bit unorthodox, but maaaannn. It's good.

AG, 3 gallon batch.
1lb white wheat malt
1lb red wheat malt.
.5 lb biscuit malt
.5 dingmans special b
.75 lb flaked wheat
.5 lb HONEY BUNCHES OF OATS
(Yeah. Breakfast cereal in beer)
Boil at 150* F for 45 minutes, in 2/3 of water mass. Filter and put that in your carboy.

.5 g perle
.5g us fuggle
1/2 teaspoon sweet orange zest
1/4 teaspoon lemon zest
1/6 teaspoon coriander
Boil at 275* F for 30 minutes in 1/6 of your water mass.
Filter into your carboy. Let it sit and SLOWLY cool down.
Add the remaining 1/6 of your carboy to 100% apple juice.

Safebrew wheat yeast and let it do its thing.

OG: 1.145
FG: 1.115

This is kind of interesting. I assume you mistyped your OG/FG??

Tasting Notes......just curious, why do you call it hippy wheat??

I might have. It turns up around 5.5-4.8 % abv.
Smooth, grainy, and has a pleasant amount of sweetness.
The tastes brings memories of a brief time I spent partying at a hippy commune. So, hippy wheat.

And abv is the range I've got from first time brewing to the more recent
4.8 was first time, 5.5 is where I am now that I know a bit more about working with yeast and when it should be frozen and stopped.

I'm surprised no one asked this. What does "Boil at 275" mean? Water boils at 212.

Also, 150 is hot water, but not boiling.

212 is barely boiling...275 is a rockin' hard Rollin' boil. In other words, he could of just said, make sure is boiling hard before starting that timer.

Sweet maltiness and gives it a "granola" texture.
If you want, add weed at the end of the boil or 'dry hop' it with fresh bud during secondary fermentation. But that's what any stoner could do with any beer.
