I brewed Yooper's DFH 60 clone yesterday and decided to try a third sparge to collect some wort for making starters. I did a 2g sparge and ended up with almost 2 gallons of 1.020 wort. I assume that if I boil this down to ~1 gallon it will have an OG of about 1.040. Is my assumption correct?
I plan to put this in some canning jars and store it in the fridge until I make my starters for next weeks brew sessions.
