Aged Hops For Lambic Brewing

I have a good supply of older, mostly continental and/or noble variety hops that would be great for Lambics. Everything has been kept vacuum sealed, and is 2006-2008 harvest.

I would have to agree. Hops Direct sells them for $8 a pound.

If they were kept vacuum sealed, they're probably not suitable for lambics...

I would just put then on a tray half sorta crumbled in the kitchen somewhere and forget about them for a while.

I agree, I'm just saying he's justifying selling old hops for above market value because you could use them for lambics... and you can't.

well i had no idea what the market is for them. they went in the trash last night so it's a moo point (it's like a cows opinion, it doesn't matter:cross.

Dude, I can't believe you trashed all them cheese curds! You could have at least given them to someone who brews Belgian style beer. Way to go!
