I see a lot of threads on HBT where it looks like someone has somehow copied their recipe from Beersmith and posted it on HBT. Whenever you need help you have to post the recipe for someone to know what you have done. I have been doing this manually as I cannot figure out how to copy and paste a recipe from Beersmith. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Click on a recipe (not double click, don't go in to edit). There is a dropdown menu at the top of beersmith, change it to "Text". You will see the recipe preview change to plaint text. Highlight all that you want, right click, click Copy (Ctrl+C doesn't work for some reason). Paste here.

You are a dang genius. It was right there the whole time and I couldn't figure it out for the life of me! Many thanks!

Once you've selected a recipe, switched the drop-down to "Text", highlighted the desired text range, right-click and select "Copy".

Fingers never have to leave the mouse...

Cheers!

You can't copy and paste from the regular view, the one in the bottom preview pane? Or do you not have the bottom preview pane turned on?

See the middle toolbar, between the preview pane and the list of recipes in that folder? Text is one of the choices, as is classic brewsheet, etc. Just change it to the right one and right mouse click and then paste it here.

In the lower half of the main screen your recipe will appear if you simply select the name of the recipe above. Not double click, just highlight. In the menu bar right side center screen there is a drop box that lets you select text, then highlight the text, copy and paste

thanks! But in my messing around I got rid of the side toolbar by accident. How do I get her back?

Try view menu or grab the margin arrows and slide
