I am building a new control panel for my single tier and would like to use a 8 pin MIC connector in the wire path to control three pumps. I would most likely use solid core 16 gauge wire.

I would like to have a control panel that I could easily disconnect from the stand/pumps/thermistors/24v honeywell valves.

These look like they might do the job but I don't see any panel mount options. I really need something where I can mount the female end in the box (boy does that sound bad...)

I know xlr connectors are good for 'phantom' power (if I remember correctly that's 70v) so you're good to go for 24v.

I wouldn't use them for 120 vac tho.

Wait, 8-pin? Should still be fine for 24v but I'd stay away from 120vac.
