I have been doing five gallon batches so I have used 185 degree water for a single sparge. I want to split that into two, so is the second sparge temp 170 degrees since the grain bed should already be up to temperature?

Just use the same water, by the time it's sat through the first batch sparge, been poured and then stirred the temp will be just fine.
