I'm pretty much positive I have a lacto infection in my chocolate milk stout. Thin film on top with tiny white balls after a move to secondary glass carboy and adding cocoa nibs. There are no bad smells and it tastes good so I'm gonna bottle in a couple days and hope for the best. I'm not sure how it happened cause I'm ocd about sanitation. Any suggestions on something different to do with the beer are welcomed.

it's the cocoa nibs....same thing happened to me (even though I soaked them in vodka)....just drink it fast

You think they cause infection or does the yeast go back to work and this is a side effect?
