Just came across this tonight while looking on their site for other things. It appears that will be selling hops, grain and extract in small and bulk quantities by approximately the end of January. I'm curious to see what they offer and their pricing as well as shipping costs.

I have not seen this posted so punch me in the face if it already has been discussed.

Nifty....Hey mjc/Chi Company, any updates?

You are correct. We will soon be selling hops, grain & yeast; step by step.

-We have purchased a $2,000 unit that will purge light-barrier, metal foil bags with CO2 or Nitrogen, then vacuum the gas out and seal the bags. This is a PROFESSIONAL unit, not a home style unit using food-saver bags!
-We have the sample bags and are in testing mode.
-We have the wholesale Hops & Grain accounts set up.
-We have the freezers in place for the hops.
-Looking for a good digital scale with label printer.
-As soon as we have ALL the infrastructure set in place, we will be offering Hops at GREAT prices. We have surveyed the top seller's prices and have either matched or bettered them.

-AFTER we have the HOPS sales & infrastructure set, we will then offer malts/grains.
-We have a wholesale acct with the mfg. of the airtight grain bins that will hold 50lbs. We will use these for ourselves and also sell on our website.
-We are about to build a mezanine in one of the warehouses for the grain.

You can help us by taking a 12 minute survey about your hop/grain/yeast usage:

Thank you,
