I was doing my normal process of making a starter last night. I got my dme boiled and cooled. Let it sit till room temp. Sprayed my work area and yeast vial down with a diluted alcohol solution. Took the foil off and proceeded to pour the White Labs Belgian Wit yeast in. I dropped the whole vial in the starter. It is a 2L erlenmeyer and I had no way to get it out, so i left it in. The starter is fermenting this morning, but should i be worried about infection. I did sanitize the outside of the vial. I should have not had that second hop stoopid 22 before I finished my work.
Anyone else do this before? I hope the starter will be fine.
