I am new to the homebrewing scene. A friend of mine has done it in the past and i loved his beers (lost touch with him so i can't ask him any of these questions).
I just recently replaced my 27 year old beverage air with a new kegerator and want to start brewing as a hoby. However, I live in central PA and the closest homebrew store is like 3 hours away.
I would like some adivice on the best websites to purchase a full brewing kit (good quality, doesn't have to be the cheapest but that is prefered) that would include everything I need for brewing (and if not what additional stuff to buy).
I would like to keg my beer, so a site that sells good quality kegs would also be appriciated. I have existing lines in my kegerator with a metal male connector for the gas and beer lines so I need to know what connectors to buy.
How many kegs should I start with, 1 or 2?
Also, i am a huge fan of Hoegaarden so I would like some recommendations on a good recepie to try or a good site to buy quality ingredients.
Thanks in advance
Scott
