I've never had an infection but I've seen them. I think what your looking at is just some left over bubbles. The infections I've seen had a lot bigger bubbles than that

One of the best things to make is a wort chiller. Is will help settle a lot of the hot break out. It also helps it cool faster..so no infection

I jumped into all grain after a few extract kits, it's not hard as some people may think an really makes you free to make any beer you choose. Plus I think it's alot more fun to.
