Dont know about the lid it self, but I do know that the standard gasket will fit.

They do make quick disconnects for propane / nat gas. They are almost identical to the air hose ones, but they have a locking mechanism on them. I don't know if home depot carries them, but I have seen them at my local hardware store.

just get rid of the turnbuckle on your pulley and make a slightly larger hole in the ceiling. That might get you the height you need.

The thought has crossed my mind. I got the hops from hopsdirect.com & I was only trying to buy the fresh 2011 hops. Since then I have read and learned quite a bit & realize the error in my ways. Now I just need to come up with some good combinations that might work for APA's or IPA's.
