    Hops boil bag?

    Anyone use the little nylon bags for your hops during the boil? I do. Wondering if they work as well, taste wise. Beer has no issues with crap in fermenters though... I also throw in the 2nd hops in the same bag, they all fluff up pretty nicely, :mug: I think they are awesome....

    Drinking my 5gal first brew for the first time tonight!

    2 weeks in primary/secondary, 1 week in keg, not too bad considering. A little lite on the carbonation but fairly close to the fat tire it was supposed to be cloned after. :mug: Thanks for all the help, some of the tips I've read here will help on the next brews for sure. Never realized...

    Adding a little alcohol to boil?

    Thinking of adding a little something to this oatmeal stout? Nothing crazy, just boost the alc content without affecting taste. Any ideas of how to do this without affecting anything or has worked well for anyone? Help a noob out please. If this is a bad idea, say so. DO NOT want to jack it...
