    solar eclipse

    anyone from cali to texas brewing up anything special for the solar eclipse tonight? think i will put together a spicey pale ale and call it "ring of fire pale". even though im not in southern utah where the full ring of fire eclipse will be we should have a good view here in slc :mug:

    Green olive taste?

    I have had on two occasions tasting different friends brews and have noticed a green olive taste.. One was a mead wich I guess he used hops in and the other was a honey moon ale.. I can't tell what is causing that taste but I can't drink it.. Any idea what would cause a green olive taste?

    Closed loop water wort chiller

    Why do people prefer to hook up to a external water source rather than using a cheap pond pump hooked to your coil in a bucket with ice or frozen 2ltr bottles like I do? I hear about people wanting to save water and this was a no brainer when I first started brewing..
