    Scoby viability

    The last time I brew was the tail end of October, I moved and life got in the way. My scoby has been sitting in that tea, in the mid 60's for over 3 months. I threw it in a new batch of tea tonight. Does anyone think it is still viable ?

    Need a malt bill for a split batch

    I have some gigayeast gb150 sour cherry funk and gb122 berliner blend. I would like to do one 12 gallon batch and split it into 2 fermenters. What would be an acceptable malt bill for both ? Maybe 65 % pilsner, 25 % wheat, and 10 % crystal ? And what crystal ?

    What size kettle ?

    Im going to build an e-biab. I would like 12 gallons into the fermenter. Should i go with bayou 102 qt or 122 qt kettle with steamer basket ?

    My smack packs got warm

    My 3 year old was playing in my mini fridge that I keep my yeast in and changed the temp knob. The wife caught him in it yesterday evening and I notice it tonight. It was 60 degrees in there. So it went from 40 up to 60 in about 28 hours. Do you think there will be any harm to the yeast?
