16 hours and no airlock activity

Hey.....I had the same issue with my first batch. I actually didn't get any activity for around 5 days, then went and took a gravity reading and nothing had changed. I must have stirred it up a bit, because it started fermenting after that. It turned out great! Just be patient, and give it a...

That seems a little high. The airlock bubbled about once per minute after I moved carboy. I did not see...

That's what I missed...... I hydrated yeast per instuctions in warm water for 15 mins. I transferred beer into carboy, then dumped in yeast. Dumped being the operative word. I didn't shake it or anything. Was that the problem? I was thinking maybe I moved it around doing the hydro reading and...

First batch....not sure what happened during fermentation.

Ok, I'm a newbie. Brewed my first batch last Wednesday. I waited patiently until Saturday with no signs of fermentation. After further research and reading here, it appears I did not aerate enough when I added the dry yeast. So fast forward to Sunday, I decide to take a hydrometer reading...

I forgot to add water to my AIRLOCK.

Hello, I brewed my first batch of beer yesterday. I had no idea I needed to add water or vodka to my airlock. Should I go back and do this today or just leave it?? Thanks for any advice!
