I didnt see any weight specs either so i emailed the manuf. and he said it would hold 150 pounds and the burners are 14 inches center to center holding up to a 30 quart pot.

i just did my first 10 gallon batch yesterday with 26 pounds of grain and it took 2 hours to drain my mash tun due to my cheap braided line i will def look into the spring idea if i can find one to fit inside my braid or just try a water heater hose or use copper for a manifold.

maybe a dumb question but why cant someone just remove the post and put a stopper and airlock in the hole?

I want to get into growing hops also, I live outside of Austin and this heat is brutal I know they like lots of sun but I may try and plant them with a little shade since this heat is so crazy. Any advice for me? Good luck.

I just strained a couple of pints through a coffee filter and what a difference that makes. Much better tonight but I will let it sit and give it another shot in a couple of days or a week.

had it in the primary 2 weeks and in the secondary 2 weeks then in the bottles for 2 weeks now its been in the fridge for 2 days and still has a plastic taste.
