This was exactly my thinking and why I asked for more info as to what he has read about electric and wheat.

I have a Dudadiesel 40 plate chiller and I really like it. I can go from boiling to 64ish in one pass with spring/fall ground water. In summer my water is a little warmer and I can get down to 70ish in a single pass. Normally takes 6-7 minutes for a 5 gal batch.
