google around to see if there is a homebrew club or other homebrewers in your area. If so, join them. Ask if anyone needs to get rid of extra bottles, and you very likely will get offered what you need at zero cost.:smack:

I would think you're going to be OK on the yeasts. As long as your sanitation wasn't compromised, and they never got above 100F, they should still be viable. Our prayers to all who endured and survived Sandy~ We know what hurricanes & floods are all about here in Eastern NC.

Has anyone bought dry yeast, then (due to a long drive home) forgot to take it out of the car, where it sat undiscovered for a week, and had it survive~? I did this very thing, but I don't know if I should attempt to use it or not. I guess I could start a starter with it to see if it is still...
