    Old Grain

    Hi all....I have about 20lbs of 2-row and 20lbs of M.O. that have been sitting in my garage for almost 2 yrs. The bags have stayed dry although it does get pretty warm in there during the summer. Is this grain still usable? Thanks.

    Does starter count as a "generation"

    Hi all..I know that it is said that if one re-uses yeast it shouldn't be done beyond 5 or 6 generations. Does the yeast built up in a starter count as a generation? I normally keep some from the 1st starter and use it as a "mother". Any ideas...thanks
