Old CO2 Tank.... Could it be imparting flavor?

I made an Amber Ale and a Honey Wheat back at the first of August to put in my newly built kegerator. I have two corney kegs which were well cleaned and sanitized before used with new sanitized beverage lines. I also have a very old co2 tank that has not been refilled in over 10 years, but...

    Question Regarding New Kegerator Build

Any ideas about where to put the CO2 line or regarding the tower? I hope to be able to drill it tonight, hopefully someone has done this before or knows more about these fridges to give me some advice on where to put it. I have about decided to build the tower. My father is manufacturing a...

    Question Regarding New Kegerator Build

I wound up getting the fridge yesterday, it cost me $80. Everything fit so well that I couldn't pass it up. The shelves lifted right out and the kegs set in it perfectly with absolutely no door mods. This seems like it will be just as easy as the sanyos to build. See below photo link...

    Question Regarding New Kegerator Build

I know this is probably a common question and I have tried to find the answers on my own, but may need all of you folks' assistance. I am going to pick up this Kenmore fridge tomorrow (http://charlotte.craigslist.org/hsh/1860819317.html) and need to know if anyone sees any reason why it...

Hi everyone... I have been brewing extract and partial mash brews for a couple years off and on and joined this site quite a while back when I got started, but never really posted. I rediscovered it a few days back while hunting information on kegging my beer. I have learned a lot...

    Need some advise

I have a kit that is already hopped extract. Should I boil it anyway or just follow the instructions on the kit to add the syrup, boiling, then cool water. It seems I have read that it is better to boil it even if the instructions do not say to. If I do then for how long?

    Kit Problem

How often should my airlock be bubbling during the first few days of fermentation. I am new to this and just wanna make sure everything is ok. It has been 60hrs since I put it in and the bubbles are about 12 sec apart. Is that normal?

    Kit Problem

thanks everyone.... I checked it this morning and it is bubling every 30-45 secs in the airlock... don't know what the normal speed is, but considering the circumstances i think that is good. The kit I used was all canned extract. The insturctions said to pour it into the fermenter then an...

    Kit Problem

I just found out the brew kit I used today was out of date by 10 months. Apparently the bewshop I bought it at is not one of the best around and he sold me a kit that went out of date a while back. Should everything be ok? How will I know if it is not and when?
