There is a metal nipple that is inside of the bushing. It is tightly wrapped in the nylon bushing. Since the hole in that nipple is so small it would not be able to wrap around the metal nipple.

I imagine that you could use them with the other gasket. But how this is designed it won't work as a replacement.

These look different than the ones on the regulator. The hole is not as big.

Also, is the blichmann website down? I have been trying to get on to do some research and am not having any luck.
