    Pumpkin Ales

    Did Jamal's recipe last year everyone loved it. 5 pound of baked pumpkin in the mash. Not to bad only had to clean pump out once. I would recommend his recipe. Have requests to brew it again this year.

    New bottles or recycled bottles? How did you clean the bottles? Sanitizer used? Did you sanitize the bottling bucket, hoses, and caps? What did you use to prime with? How long has it been in the bottle? Is there a ring on the inside of the neck of the bottle?

    Very simple and cheap if you look for deals. Check garage sales and your local good will store for items. 10 gallon stock pot can be bought at military surplus store cheap also.

    Had to dump last 6 batches - Need help finding culprit!

    Try taking ball valve a part. You might be surprised what you find in there. I was when I did mine last week. Also might replace raking cane go with SST one you can always bake it in oven to make sure you kill any bugs. Replace all hoses, clean all kegs parts and fittings.
