    New grainfather pot still

    New to grainfather pot still and having issues getting 220v outdoors, does anyone use the grainfather or any other electric still indoors. I read the beginners book and they say no but wondering of they are taking in to account it is electric and not propane.

    Grainfather step up converter

    Any one used a 5000 watt step up converter to run a 240 volt Grainfather in America? Heading back to Texas with a grainfather bought in Europe wondering if this would be easier then running a 240 volt line.

    Neglected mother:)

    I purchased 2 bottles GT'S Kombucho. I was going to use it for a starter. Later I noticed later that is was flavored gingerade. Can I use this or should I find no flavor GT's Thanks

    I did not put the fruit in a muslin bag. Did I make a huge mistake? If so now what? Thanks in advance

    Granulated honey

    I am in Calgary and having issues sourcing reasonable priced bulk honey. One beekeeper has 5gl buckets of white honey from last fall. He says the white honey is granulated. Is it worth the effort of slightly heating to un granulate it? Or should I keep looking. Thanks in advance.

    Yeast nutrient

    Is mead yeast nutrient different then nutrient for beer or even wine? Do you make a starter for mead. I am using wyeast 4632 dry mead yeast. Gathering supplies for one of my first meads. Thanks in advance

    I am back brewing in Katy, Texas

    Hello, I brewed some a few years ago using extract only. Now I live in Katy, and need to learn how to deal with the warmer temperatures down here. I also want to get away from extract brewing So I am excited about finding this board.
