I have an idea for controlling the temp, do you think it will work?

I have all the tools needed to try this lying around, I just dont know if its worth trying cause you usually get only one chance at a healthy fermentation, a bad start and all you've done is lost for me, using a fridge is not an option I wanted to try the ice bath method, but theres no active...

So I need soft water for brewing? What about pH, how can I make sure I'm doing it the right way without knowing my pH?

Is it ok to use pH test strips instead of a digital pH meters?

Yeah I do live in Iran, there are labs that do all kinds of tests but it's not worth it since I'm not a pro and this isn't my job, I make my own beer cause I can't get real beer here, it's not legal, hard to find, most Iranians beers here are made using enzymes and there's no active fermentation...

Is it ok to use pH test strips instead of a digital pH meters?

Hi everyone I'm fairy new to this hobby I don't wanna spend in a digital pH meter just yet, there are cheap ones out there but people say they're unreliable, I have read John palmers book, there were some mentions of using pH test papers, is it ok to use them? Has anyone ever used an aluminum wort chiller?

Greetings Why did it get Brazilian (Portuguese) all of the sudden? 😂 Did you translate the op? Anyway, I will not use any type of low pH or high pH cleaners for this, I'll just wash it with tap water and then I'll sanitize it in the boiling wort

Has anyone ever used an aluminum wort chiller?

But copper doesn't? I mean I have made stews in copper pots and it tasted like copper, but for some reason everybody is using them so there's no doubt copper one of the best options out there

Has anyone ever used an aluminum wort chiller?

I have 8 meters of 1cm thick aluminum tube and I thought why invest in a copper chiller when I can build my own chiller, aluminum has high thermal conductivity, my only concern is that it might change the flavor? Give it a metallic taste? The reason I think there might be something wrong about...

Star San foam a yeast killer?

I'm sorry for bringing up an old topic but if starsan becomes yeast food, then it probably doesn't affect wild yeast as well, right?

Seeing some molds in malted barley, should I throw it all out?

That's what I would definitely do next time As for these seeds, there are only very tiny molds on some parts, the rest are clean can I only use the clean ones?

Seeing some molds in malted barley, should I throw it all out?

I think it's because the temperature and humidity is high in my area and that I don't have enough equipment to control the conditions I'm so disappointed to see some molds here but there are very small and only in some spots, should I throw it all away?
