    Untappd ??

I love the app, I use it to log my beers when out and add my Home Brews too. I like that i can always go back and look at beers i can not remember if I liked or not. I have 300 logged so far and many more to go. Add me if you can I love seeing what everyone else is enjoying. JMG680/ John Gries.

How much beer do you keep in reserve?

Now that I have a Keg System I always have one under pressure and in reserve, then I have a 6 pack in storage of my last 3 or 4 brews for handing out to those who want to try. Any thing to never run out.

    First Beer undrinkable..

My first beer was a bad one too. And I did not drink them cause of the taste. Then after 3 months in the bottle I tried one and, wow, a good beer. Time heals most beers. Give it time and you may like it. Unless it was infected you should be ok.

Brewed my First 2 Batches of Mead today

I was going to add to secondary and age for a few months. I am looking forward to the traditional mead, and the SWMBO wanted a fruity one, so two with one stone.

I did a sweet mead and one that I will be adding raspberry too soon. Thanks for all the info I was able to gather from y'all.

It took some scrubbing to come off, but the pot is clean and again ready for use. Oh well, it is the small things that make home brew taste more individual.

    Oops, Burnt Extract

So I finish my brew day and go to clean my pot and there it is a burnt spot of extract about the size of a quarter in the middle of my pot. I thought I did a good job of adding a bit at a time and making sure it was dissolved before moving back to the heat. Oh well, I think I should still be...
